Practice # 2: Summerset Manor’s Francophone Household (Prince Edward Island)
Abstract
The purpose of creating a French wing at Summerset Manor, within a
predominantly Anglophone environment, is to provide long-term care in the official language of the user’s choice. Residents feel comfortable requesting services in French, and enough professionals are available to deliver all services in French, including intake services.
